Check out the ‘roid week pool here and day two’s favorites here.

The first shot was made with my Polaroid Colorpack II and Fuji FP-100c film on June 26, 2012 at Manzanita beach. The second shot was taken in early spring, february or march, in NW Portland with my Polaroid Spectra and expired Polaroid Softtone film.

  1. Always enjoy peoples instant photography. So sad that Fuji has eliminated their larger format polaroids.

    • Thanks, James! I have never shot large format but I can still more the loss of it. I wish I had gotten into photography when there was so much more film available but i’m glad i didn’t miss it entirely.

      • You’re welcome. Very true – I like your view on it. There’s a company called The Impossible Project that is making new polaroid film, if you want to check them out.

      • I use their film. I like it. It’s getting better and better. The b&w for spectra is just beautiful. You should try it!

  2. VANESSA!

You are rockin’ my world. There is so much detail in that first shot, and those clouds are INSANE. I don’t even know how you did that.

I’m so happy to be able to stand up in celebration of Polaroids with people like you and all of our talented friends. Happy ‘Roid Week!!

    • Thanks, Kim! It’s been so much fun to see everybody coming together and all the awesome posts. It makes me really want to push it for next year. I love our little photo crowd and our meet-ups. Thanks for sharing your talent with us as well. You constantly blow me away with your work. I am so happy to call you my friend. Let’s hang soon!

  3. I saw that first photo in the group and I loved it then as much as I do now, I wish I was at the beach too :)
